Experiment of Brassinolide Enhances Pulling the Ear Effect on Summer Black Grape

Summer Black Grape is popular for its sweet and crisp taste, seedless and early maturity. In the planting process of summer black, using gibberellic acid to pull the ear is a common measure. Pulling the ear can leave enough space for the fruit grain, form a large grain fruit type, improve the permeability between the ears, reduce the occurrence of diseases, and make the Summer Black Grape yield higher. If the ear shape is better, it can save the fruit thinning labor, and increase the yield and income by pulling the ear.
Since Summer Black Grape is sensitive to gibberellic acid, and the activity of gibberellic acid is affected by temperature, water and fertilizer, tree vigor and other factors. The effect of using it in different regions is not same, and there are many cases of phytotoxicity caused by the wrong use of gibberellic acid concentration. Therefore, a more accurate, safe, stable and efficient pulling scheme is needed for Summer Black Grape. Brassinolide is not only a safe and efficient plant growth regulator, but also can alleviate the phytotoxicity to a certain extent. It also has a significant effect on enhancing the efficacy when combined with other agents. To this end, ZS-CHEM crop-tech team test through brassinolide with gibberellic acid, here gives ZS-CHEM Summer Black Grape earing scheme:
Summer Black Grape Ear Pulling Demonstration
Test site: Shiping, Yunnan Province
Treatment time: March 10, 2016.
Test variety: Summer Black Grape
Test agent: Gibberellic acid 4%SL, 24-epibrassinolide 0.01%SL dipped ear once, each treatment randomly selected 20 ears grape, each grape soaked in the liquid for 3-5 seconds.
Experimental result: it can be seen from the result analysis that ZS-CHEM scheme (Gibberellic acid 4%SL+24-epibrassinolide 0.01%SL). The ear pulling effect was significantly different from the control. The ear length of summer black grape treated with ZS-CHEM scheme was significantly longer than that of the control, and the ear shape was better and the commodity value was higher. The spike length was longer than that of single Gibberellic acid 4%SL treatment, the average ear length of Gibberellic acid 4%SL treatment was 15.19cm, the control was 13.42cm, and the spike length of Gibberellic acid 4%SL+24-epibrassinolide 0.01%SL was 16.07cm. It can also be seen from the growth rate of flower panicles that the spike length growth of 24-epibrassinolide 0.01%SL combination is also significantly better than that of the control.
Therefore, 24-epibrassinolide is highly safe if using to enhance grape ear pulling. Good effects can be achieved within the normal recommended dose range, which is promoting the elongation of panicles, alleviating the lignification of cob caused by Gibberellic acid, and making cob more soft and flexible. It is recommended to use 24-epibrassinolide active ingredients in the range of 0.03-0.1mg/L.
