Lettuce belongs to the leaves with lettuce, for Compositae annual or biennial vegetables, the origin of China Sea coast, like cold cool humid climate, because of suitable for raw food named. Crisp and tender texture, fresh and delicate taste, rich in dietary fiber and VC, has the effect of promoting digestion. In addition to conventional fertilizer and water management, prevention and control of sclerotium, downy mildew, soft rot, gray mold and other diseases and lettuce spot burrow, there is also a complex and time-consuming process is lettuce turning heart shaping. Lettuce turning heart shaping is the guidance of market consumer demand, because high quality lettuce requires the appearance of complete stretch, dark green and shiny leaves. Therefore, farmers tend to plant green and shiny leaves in planting, and lettuce forms lettuce with scattered, non-twisted leaves and unstrung hearts.
In order to explore a plan for lettuce shaping, the crop technology department of Zhengshi Chemical conducted a demonstration experiment of lettuce relaxation and planking in Banqiao Town, Luliang County, Yunnan Province, the main lettuce producing area, in July 2022.

Test Product: Jin Litong (5%NAA)
Test Method:Foliar uniform spray (10-100mg/L is generally recommended for naphthalene acetic acid) was used to investigate lettuce plant width and single leaf width 3 days after application
Test Result:After Zhengshi scheme treatment, the leaves were wide and flat, the heart was in good shape, and the leaves were soft, which was conducive to lying on the edge in the later stage. However, the growth per plant of the treatment was slightly lower than that of competing products, with plant width only 2.46mm and leaf width 1.01mm.

At present, the methods of shaping lettuce are generally divided into manual removing the leaves, blowing the leaves with a hair dryer or using a medicine. Artificial plastic workers laborious, easy to pick off the blade, and easy to rebound. But the market of plastic agents are uneven, improper use is easy to damage the leaves, produce drug damage. In this experiment, the application of foliar fertilizer in a single spray can achieve the dual purpose of turning the center of lettuce leaves and providing the nutritional element demand of lettuce, which is conducive to reducing the management cost of lettuce, improving the quality of lettuce and increasing the biomass at the same time, and finally realizing the increase of yield and income.
