Watermelon, especially the facility watermelon, because the nutrient growth is too prosperous, melon setting degree is too high, melon setting rate is low; Adverse factors such as rainy weather in facility cultivation affect pollination and fertilization. In this case, auxiliary means such as spraying melon fetus with plant growth regulator are often used. 6-Benzylaminopurine (6-BA) has high safety and good effect, which can promote cell division, help plant growth, promote growth, improve the melon, and improve the value of goods.
In order to further optimize the formula and demonstrate the field application, the crop technical team of Zhengshi Chemical carried out the watermelon set melon demonstration test in Kaifeng City, Henan Province, the main watermelon growing area, in June 2020.

Test Product: 0.1% Forchlorfenuron
Test Method: The diluted 0.1% Forchlorfenuron(2-5mg/L) was dipped in watermelon embryo. After 11days, 30 days investigate watermelon size.
Test Result：After using 0.1% Forchlorfenuron. Melons under the treatment on the 11days were significantly larger than those under the artificial pollination treatment, with bright skin, dark green leaves, strong growth, and regular melon shape without obvious deformity.
